Freelance คืออะไร ควรจะต้องรู้อะไรบ้าง กิจกรรม “Freelance” มีเป้าหมายเพื่อให้นักศึกษาดนตรีได้ทราบถึงทักษะที่จำเป็น สำหรับการจะเป็นนักดนตรีอิสระ ประกอบไปด้วย การวางแผนกิจกรรม การจัดการการเงิน การคิดราคาและการต่อรอง รวมถึง การวางแผนในการตลาดเพื่อให้ดำเนินการให้ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยนักศึกษาจะได้เนินการคิดโครงการและจะได้รับคำแนะนำ จากวิทยากรในการดำเนินการเพื่อเตรียมการนำเสนอโครงการในวันสุดท้ายของกิจกรรม
กิจกรรมนี้จัดทำเพื่อเป็นการเสริมองค์ความรู้ด้านอื่นๆ ให้แก่นักศึกษา อาทิเช่น การบริหารจัดการ การวางแผน หรือการตลาด เพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้นำความรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาด้านสายอาชีพของตนเอง
นักศึกษาจะได้รับองค์ความรู้ด้านการบริหารจัดการ การวางแผน การตลาด หรือด้านอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง และนักศึกษาสามารถนำความรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในอนาคตได้ต่อไป

Students will be exploring the basics of acoustics and sound recording and how to record audio under limitations. Students will also learn about the concept of sound for moving image, audio visual relationships, foley and sound design. Finally, students will get an opportunity to “redesign” and
“recreate” the sound effects for the selected scenes from the movie using minimal recording setup.

Description:
This course aims to enhance the musicianship of vocalists and instrumentalists by exploring the relationship between words and music. Discover other interpretational options for compositions by song composers through music analysis, lyrics analysis, and the study of vocal techniques. The topics include art songs with texts by the German romantics and French symbolists, songs from musical theatre, and contemporary pop songs.
This course is open to vocalists, pianists, and other instrumentalists interested in compositions by song composers. The students will prepare songs, accompaniment parts, or instrumental works by the composers listed below:

String Performance Course with the Watkins Duo

Description:
Students will have the opportunity to work with Rhys Watkins (violin I, London Symphony Orchestra) and Rowena Calvert (cello, Cavaleri String Quartet) in this intensive performance course for violin, viola, and cello. This week of masterclasses, lessons, and chamber coachings will explore the topics of solo and ensemble playing, with a special feature on Wednesday on orchestral excerpts. All students should be prepared to perform one movement of repertoire or chamber music in the Friday showcase.
*This project will take place on-site at PGVIM*

Monday morning - Masterclass, violin/viola
Tuesday morning - Lessons, violin / Chamber music coachings
Wednesday morning - Orchestral Audition Advice and Excerpt Workshop
Thursday evening - Lessons, cello / Chamber music coaching
Friday morning - showcase
All afternoons should be used for practice/rehearsal time
Requirement:
Students participating in the Monday masterclass should have performance-ready repertoire to play, and bring their own pianist if their repertoire has accompaniment.
Friday performances must be with piano as well.

มาเรียนเรียนรู้ Ableton Live โปรแกรมตัดต่อเสียง Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) ที่ออกแบบมาเพื่อการสร้างสรรค์บทเพลงที่ผสมผสานระหว่างโลกของดนตรีอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เสียง และเครื่องดนตรี Live ได้อย่างไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด เหมาะสำหรับนักดนตรีที่อยากเปิดโลกของเสียง และการเล่นดนตรีที่กว้างมากขึ้นจากเครื่องดนตรี Acoustic ทั่วไป และอยากจะเรียนรู้วิธีในการนำเสนอผลงานดนตรีของตัวเอง หรือผสมผสานกับการเล่นดนตรีในมิติอื่นๆ เพิ่มเติม
พบกับวิทยากรจากทีมคนไทยที่ได้รับการเสนอชื่อให้ไปเข้าชิง Hong Kong Film Award และ Asian Film Awards สำหรับ Best Sound Design พร้อมทั้งมีผลงานออกแบบเสียงให้กับภาพยนตร์หลายเรื่อง และอัลบั้มผลงานดนตรีที่น่าติดตามอีกหลายผลงาน

ไม่จำกัดชั้นปี แต่ขอให้มีความสนใจที่จะเรียนรู้จริงจัง สามารถเข้าร่วมได้เต็มวันเวลาที่กำหนด และมีคอมพิวเตอร์เป็นของตัวเอง (หรือสามารถใช้ร่วมกับเพื่อนที่เรียนด้วยกันได้ แต่ต้องไม่เกินสองคนต่อหนึ่งเครื่อง)
หากมีประสบการณ์ เรียน Music & Innovation มานิดหน่อย หรือเคยใช้โปรแกรม DAW อื่นๆ เช่น Logic, GarageBand, CUBASE, REAPER จะสนุกยิ่งขึ้น แต่ถ้ายังไม่รู้ไม่เป็นไร ขอให้เตรียมใจมาสู้ก็โอเคร 😍
PREPARATION
จำเป็นต้องเตรียมไว้ก่อน เพราะถึงเวลาเรียนแล้วจะเริ่มลงมือทำเลย ไม่มีการคอยให้นักศึกษาลงโปรแกรมหรือให้ไปอัดเสียงก่อนแล้วกลับมาทำ

อัดเสียงความยาว 60 - 120 วินาทีไว้ 6 เสียง และ load เข้าคอมพิวเตอร์ไว้เลย โดยแต่ละเสียง ควรมีความแตกต่างกัน (เสียงหยาบที่มี texture เสียงเคาะต่างๆ สูง- ต่ำ ฯลฯ)
